Food has immense power - it nourishes us, connects us and keeps us alive. However, in a world of abundance, much of it goes to waste, losing its potential before it can fulfil its purpose. This series of still lifes highlights the beauty of fresh, nourishing ingredients alongside those overlooked, discarded and forgotten. The rotten, wilted vegetables tell a story of excess, neglect and lost power of those vegetables we don't appreciate and take for granted. Transforming waste into art, the work invites us to reflect on our relationship with food, challenging us to rethink what we value and what really sustains us.
